TO ALL: JUST TALKED WITH VIVUS INVESTORS RELATIONS: 1. No news pending 2. Do not expect any surprise announcements. 3. Everything is running smoothly. 4. Plant production was 750,000 as of July 1. Production had been increased but would not provide numbers.. 5. Still awaiting UK approval. (Could happen any day) 6. New plant will double capacity on initial startup. Will expand rapidly as demand increases. 7. A small amount of product had been shipped to the UK under a named patient program (Probably the Prince needed some) 8. Vivus was supposed to have had a court appearance on Sept 8 at which it requested a summary judgement in regards to a lawsuit filed by a consultant who claimed Vivus had failed to list him as the inventor of their product. She did no know the outcome of this hearing. She will let me know the results tomorrow. 9. Insider selling was not unusual. She said there will be insiders selling every quarter. I suspect some of these sales are option related. SLEEP TIGHT AND HOPE SHE'S RIGHT RT
