Martha, Martha, Martha!

Upon her jailhouse exit in early March, Martha Stewart told reporters camped at her $16 million New York country estate, "People make jokes about making lemons into lemonade." Five months later she emerged from house arrest with not one, but two network television programs. She heavily promoted her projects on talk shows, brushing off questions about doing time with jokes. Judging by the ratings of "The Apprentice: Martha Stewart" -- which won't be returning for a second season -- and "Martha," however, the jury is still out on whether consumers are buying the homemaking entrepreneur's lemonade.
