I watched Dolly Parton being pressed by a male talk show host for her political opinions. She repeatedly fended of the line of questioning. Perhaps she has sufficient practice fending off men. <g> She explained repeatedly that she was an entertainer, and that she felt comfortable expressing opinions of entertainment. She expressed modesty about her qualifications in the political arena. What a lady! She is thought to be rather right of the Dixie Chicks.
