Z, I don't know about you, but if all I knew about something other than this was that somebody said wrote that somebody else wrote about it when most of the context is improbable (giving sight to the blind, healing lepers), I probably wouldn't believe it.

If you saw something happen which would otherwise be considered unbelievable or at least improbable, how would you tell others, and would you expect them to believe you?

One reason why I like the Gospel of John is the fact that the author doesn't hide his intent for writing it. John 20:30-31 says, "Jesus did many other miraculous signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not recorded in this book. But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name."

Kind of a bold statement, especially in the context of the improbable, don't you think?
