I thought I explained that in the post you are responding to.

" Why don't the ID proponents attempt to convince a majority of scientists before they install it in the science classroom? Write papers in journals, present evidence, have results reviewed by peers, etc. Any respectable theory goes through this process BEFORE it's taught to schoolkids. ID wants to go straight to acceptance - because it's NOT science and can't take the scrutiny.

There are NO such papers, journals, evidence presented etc. that provide scientific evidence about the origins of the universe and life. Yet speculation on origins, based on the existence of adaptive evolution is permitted to pass as science. So, the ID folk want the speculations based on their documents and accountings of existence to get equal time and space in the media.

My preference would be to take all speculation of origins out of the science curriculum... but then you politicos would have to find something else to rant and rave about.
