Vivus stake held by Vinik group

WASHINGTON, Sept 15 (Reuter) - A group led by former Fidelity Magellan Fund manager Jeffrey Vinik said Monday it holds a 7.2 percent stake in
Vivus Inc or 2,389,100 shares.

In a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, the group said its latest transactions were purchased between July 11 and Sept 12 at
prices ranging from $26.9411 to $30.9840 per share.

Vivus, based in Menlo Park, Calif, is a maker of male impotence treatments.
