Ted thinks it's wonderful rich people got a free $500k.

For someone who can speak two languages, you give the appearance all too frequently of being as dumb as a door knob. One more time........on the West Coast, homes selling for $500K are very common........that's because those who are selling their houses for $500K are the middle class who have lived in their home for years. Most are retiring or moving to a smaller place.

Why do you want to begrudge them is beyond me? We are talking about a little old couple whose children are grown and who have nothing but the equity in their houses. Just because you are new to this speculative housing crap does not make you an authority. I have been living with it for over 10 years. The spec buyers while very visible are a very small minority. And few make a lot of money at turning properties no matter how many stories you hear. I know because I did it for a while and was fairly successful.

And for the millionth time, why are you not complaining about Bush's giveaway program to the rich? If there is a big drain on revenues, its that program and not the capital gains program under Clinton. Its strange how vocal you are on one and so mute on the other.

Oh wait......you voted for Bush twice. Never mind.
