All I can say is owning Florida RE sucks today as does playing the stock market game. But at least investing, improving and flipping Florida RE created a ton of real wealth for me over the years. Anyone can do that again in places like TX and NC this next cycle unless you expect depression in which case cash will be king. Lots of words of wisdom in that article..
