A Moment of Lucidity for MSM?

Generation Why?

Or just an attempt to reverse this trend?

The Chicago Tribune looked at nine specific arguments in the war debate:

- Biological and chemical weapons
- Iraq rebuffs the world (12 years of defiance, bribes, etc.)
- The quest for nukes
- Hussein's rope-a-dope (cheat & retreat - UN Resolutions)
- Waging war on terror (ties to terrorist groups)
- Reform in the Middle East
- Iraq and Al Qaeda
- The Butcher of Baghdad (crimes against humanity)
- Iraqis liberated

and came up with this conclusion*:
After reassessing the administration's nine arguments for
war, we do not see the conspiracy to mislead that many
critics allege.
No kidding.

(hat tip: Jonathon)

* NOTE: These libs got the overall conclusion right, but much
of the underlying analysis still was quite clouded by their
liberal bias.
