I'm not buying but I thot I'd tell y'all that the black book came out on my building today in NYC and my 800 sq foot apartment 2 Br 1 Ba outsider price is 930K and insider is 880K. Its going condo btw. Carrying costs are a bit over $800 month.

So you do the math, if you put that 900K in only a 4% savings (like emigrantonline has these days basically) and took the interest you could spend 3K a month on a very nice rental and you wouldn't have put down a couple hundred K on a downpayment and have this whopping monthly mortgage.
