Yes, and the Iraq war is in complete dispute.

Which basically means the war is unpopular. That a lot of people think it was a bad idea. If that is the criteria then you are not supporting the absolute standard that a war can not be a good idea if 30k people are killed, but rather that an unpopular war is automaticlly a net bad if at least 30k people are killed. I don't think I agree but at least I have a better understanding of your criteria.

I know this may be hard for you to comprehend but I don't want anyone dying because of a war.

This may be hard for you to understand but I don't want people dieing because of war either (well I wouldn't have a problem with Osama and his ilk dieing but in general I don't like death and destruction), OTOH I think getting rid of nasty dictatorships is a good thing most of the time.

Its common knowledge that Karzai, the PM of Afghanistan, has no control in Afghanistan outside of Kabul. As for Iraq, its no where near a democracy.

They both have elected governments even if they still in ther ebryonic stage, and Karzai's government does have control outside of Kabul, although his control over the country as a whole is limited (but not non-existant just really weak).
