The next generation of oncological polymer vehicles will be used to concentrate Taxol on tumor sites, with likely targets being solid tumors, such as ovarian, breast, and brain cancer. A 20% concentration of Taxol has been achieved, with several vehicle subtypes including both microspheres and a gel.
