I have a lot of choices this year, but I think there may be a rough start to the New Year, before the market recovers. Pledging a hundred bucks to the winner's charity. My charity is Adult Protective Services, Inc., a San Diego NPO that is not associated with the county department of the same name. It does not have a website, so donations will have to be made by snail mail.

ABPI 5%
AGIX 5%
ARQL 5%
CRIS 5%
CRXX 5%
CVTX 10%
DSCO 15%
GNVC 5%
MDCO 10%
MOGN 10%
MSHL 5%
NKTR 5%
TELK 15%
XGEN 5%

This is a broader and shallower portfolio than my previous ones, with no microcap longshots. There is, however, one highly binary pick here.

AGIX doubles or goes to 3 bucks on ARISE results; I give odds of success at 40:60 (hence the small weighting in the portfolio).

Most of these have some sort of clinical or regulatory event coming in '06.

Exceptions are XGEN, which simply looks too beaten up, and MDCO, which has recently gotten some label expansion for Angiomax that I do not think is reflected in the price.

Gotta go out for the day soon, and I'll be gone for a week starting Saturday, so I'm getting my picks in early. Requests for rationale behind my other picks will be answered, but perhaps not in a timely manner.

Cheers, Tuck
