Kidnapping and torture are not crimes Bush is being accused of, at least not in any importance or partisan sense, though we were all ashamed to see what happened at Abu Graib on Bush's watch, so we know Bushies have disgraced us as a country.

I am for very select kidnapping of terrorist suspects and happen to be friends with a former Secret Service Agent whose unit of the government is responsible for such kidnappings. I admire him and know they only kidnap Class A violator felons who have fled to nations where they feel safe and have immunity. This practice should and will continue, at least in secret, regardless of who's in the White House.

Congress did the right thing rejecting Cheney's call for torture. However, if torture is absolutely necessary in rare cases there are always ways to get it done.
