I personally think that people who claim to be centrist are actually to the left of center. The number of standard deviations is what may vary<g>

I say left of center because relativism is one of the
key hallmarks of the extreme left and is what underpins
the notion of being a centrist.

The centrist label is chosen because it sounds reasonable.
As though the person is a neutral and unbiased observer of
his/her fellow man and their foibles and is capable of
submitting a wholly objective assessment.

I have news. It's damn tough to be a neutral and
unbiased proponent of political thought, or shall we
say, opinion. Who could be? (Certainly not the MSM.)

I'm comfortable with a label of moderate although
I will deny being ordinary, average or run-of-the-mill
until my dying day<g>
