Burlington also is close to Montreal, has the nice lake as well as mountains nearby and is bi-lingual. I guess all these features make it a unique attraction. Milwaukee I thought was a very nice, clean city with a neat renovated downtown and diversified economy. Perhaps being only an hour from Chicago and magnificent lake views helped?
