Although i disagree with much of what he says, Feingold does reflect the characteristics we need in public life and i would vote for him if the republican candidate does not meet my minimal standards for office. What i hate are the disingenous pols in both parties who tailor positions to which way the wind is blowing. Actually that is the one thing i still admire about bush is that he has core beliefs that transcend polling data. Of course he had Rove who was able to demonize the opposition probably to a greater extent than deserved and thats how bush tied in 2000 and won in 2004. Happy New Year Michael. Mike
PS If you can check the article on Tiger in today's NYT sports section. If Tigers career follows or exceeds Nicklaus all records will be broken by the time he is thru and HE is focused again on winning.
