FWIW I'd like to see the dems come out swinging with a real plan for a more secure America (secure in a way that let's us adhere to the constitution). I'd like to see some real attention to paid to drugs- and let's decriminalize them- to take the payback out of the system. Talk about a blow to terror. Many terror organizations have their fingers in illegal drugs, and the profits that flow from them. Let's do more about border security, and let's especially do more about container freight- a real Achilles heel, imo. Let's make sure the inter-agency communication is working properly. America is a great enough country that we can have relatively good security and still keep to what is left of the constitution. I would like to see Dems wrap themselves in the constitution and come out hitting hard, and hitting often, and bring that message home. If the Dems can't do it, I'd be more than happy to see a republican do it- because some republicans are just as upset as the dems about incursions in to our privacy. I'd vote for a republican that really wanted to protect our constitutional freedoms, before I'd vote for a dem that would roll over on them.
