I get silver bullion exposure through CEF. Silver bags (which are bags of 90% silver dimes or quarters from pre-1964, usually $1000 face value) carry a small premium, usually only a few percent above melt value. 100 oz bars are typically 6-8% shipped over the bullion value. I have bought the Green Monster box of silver eagles, but only for fun, the mark up is excessive IMO....
