The economics of the Home Building Industry and the economics of the publicly traded Home Building companies are not driven by rising home prices or their continuation (or lackthereof).

The "bull view" on homebuilders is that the national players will/(are) gain/(ing) share on the regional players. With this increased share, the national players will have higher purchasing power across the board (land, timber, components)

If this feeds higher unit sales, the equities are CHEAP.
