I can see no evidence that would show me why the now illegal drug costs would be less. And as I said, unfortunately, our family has some direct experience of what happens to a person who becomes addicted to drugs. We are fortunate in many ways. Our person is still living. And he has harmed only himself. We can tell you stories of others you wouldn't believe. Don't think this is just something that is party use....For those addicted, it certainly is not.

The ONLY way I would think that our society would benefit from legalizing currently illegal drugs would be to have each user have a signed statement with law officials on file that says "I will be responsible for my own health care and any complications due to my drug use, PLUS I will pay ALL costs for any people and/or families who are harmed, or die, because of actions I may do because of my drug use......"
