MOYNIHAN SEEKS 2000 STUDY

Sen. Daniel Patrick Moynihan is sponsoring legislation endorsed by the New York Stock Exchange to create a task force to urgently address potential year 2000 computer problems. Mr. Moynihan says only 6% of the critical federal systems have been fixed so far and only 15 out of 24 federal agencies are to be fixed by December 1999.
