2006, new rule: No more BS allowed from Bushies. No telling us the following:
- Bush has a great economy (all deficit-driven, so no go)
- Iraq was a great idea (Cheney told us it would last weeks, a few months, so three years later no matter what happens it failed)
- Spying on Americans without warrants is OK is Bush does it (actually a serious impeachable offence which trampled on the Constitution)
- John Kerry "slandered troops". Quite the opposite. Kerry is a huge champion of the vets, but made accurate criticisms of the policy-makers at the top who sometimes give our troops unethical or counter-productive orders.
- Clinton failed to get Osama Bin Lauden. True, but at least he tried 150+ times. Bush dismantled Clinton's counter-terror programs and ignored terrorism, letting 9-11 happen. Also, the false story about Clinton being offered Osama and refusing to take him. Never happened.
- The press is biased (yeah, maybe the rightwing press is, but liberals are just as angry with the MSM for sometimes BS'ing us)
- Criticizing Bush is the same as criticizing America. Not when you have a president who is doing un-American things and is corrupt or lying to us about important things like war.
- Liberalism resembles communism. Actually, they're opposites. One a military dictatorship, the other not. If Communism were not a dictatorship of the state it would be fine, but that dream is utopian and unrealistic.
- Democrats can't win elections (Just watch us in 2006, suckers)
- Corruption in government is OK so long as it's rightwing. (wrong, wrong, wrong) |
