The 57,700 disenfranchised Florida voters in 2000, and 97,000 more in 2002 (though Jeb didn't need to do that) are not only factual and admitted to, but they are real American citizens whose right to vote was taklen away, regardless of skin color.
You should be ashamed for covering up for these bastards. The Miami Herald did plenty of coverage of this. The GOP consulting firm (Choicepoint?) admitted the 57,700 names were cut. The NAACP sued Jeb Bush and they settled out of court, Jeb promisiung not to do it again after 2002. You are either ignorant or you believe a bunch of rightwing liars. Or both. Cut it out and get back to reality.
Ohio 2004 was another gross example of Bushies disenfranching voters, blacks and college students mainly. Hitchins estimated about 35,000 were denied their rights in vote in Ohio last year, and that doesn't including Diebold machine tampering which could be as much as 250,000, deciding the election. Kerry "lost" by only 110,000, though he was ahead late election day acording to all the excit polls. |
