Ted, As a seemingly devout Christian, what would be your take be on what she experienced; that is, what happened to her in her dreams? For an example, would you believe it was really her father who made contact with her, or did she arrange to have her psyche provide the message about her cancer in the form of her father?

I don't believe that there can be any form of communication between the living and the dead. In my opinion, it's usually a trick played by evil spirits.

Isn't that a contradiction? I mean aren't evil spirits dead? And if they can communicate with us, why can't good spirits? The reason I ask is because a while back in a magazine people talked about how they were warned of an impending problem that sometimes put their lives into serious danger.....not through a dream but by a voice outside of themselves.

One such incident occurred on the flight from Japan to SFO a few years back that encountered significant turbulence. A woman was sitting reading when a voice outside of her said to fasten her seatbelt; that the plane was about to experience heavy turbulence and that people would be injured. Shortly after she fastened her seatbelt, the turbulence struck and several people were hurt.

That was one of several stories described in this article. And the magazine wasn't the weird type like the National Inquirer.

Having said that, I have no idea how this might be a supernatural trick played on Tracy Nelson. And just for the record, I myself never encountered such spirits. Closest thing I experienced was a very weird dream.

What was the dream?
