The Rainier builder paints an interesting if somewhat misleading picture. There are some of these less than quality homes going up as more speculators late to the market try their hand at a business that needs some, if not a lot of experience. For the most part though, I think home quality today is little different than in the recent past. There are a lot of real quality homes going up as the price allows more flexibility than in the past tight markets.
