Our son's friend is one of the Deja Voodoo band. The "Beers" song is from when they were walking along K Road in Auckland and were accosted by loitering thugsters and asked for a beer. Tarken, our son, was carrying half a dozen. He told them he'd give them one but he only had six. It ended up a catchy song.

It's a small world in NZ and P is very popular aka fashionable, aka cool. I think being illegal and heavily advertized by anti-drug hysteria has made it super duper popular. Which I think is the effect of most anti-drug enthusiasm. When neurotoxins were all legal, not many people spent much time under their influence.

Plants make neurotoxins to protect themselves against creatures with nervous systems.
