Jeff O'Brien - "I noticed someone posted an article mentioning that Fortune Magazine gave 10 picks for the next decade back in '00. Those 10 stocks are down a combined 44% after 5 years. Some of them are down up to 80%." No problem. They've got five more years to go! :-) Actually, these to-date results are terrible. And, I'm sure Fortune picked these 'winners' purely on fundamentals. BTW, do you know what stocks they picked? Reminds me of something Cramer said. He said that what he was REALLY GOOD at was picking bottoms. He then went on to say that THIS was the bottom and that everyone should now be a buyer. That was in early 2001. But he may have picked some other reversals correctly. I missed hearing those because I stopped listening to him following the aforementioned 'bottom' call. BTW, on this board, I think that Shoreco has the best prediction record overall.
