That flippers can't get the break on 10 houses isn't a fact? That interest rates aren't at historic lows isn't a fact? That mortgage products that allow anyone to buy a house with no money down isn't a fact? Having to live in an investment for two years is way too long for the speculator. The profits from the housing bubble are coming from appreciation, not the 250/500k tax break. Ask any flipper if THEY even used the break! Most didn't, since they don't live in the houses they flip. Jim's assertions are just wrong.
