Peter, That reminds me of something I read a long, long, time ago, and don't know if it is true or not. Supposedly, they found a slab of stone in hierogliphics in Egypt, that was complaining about the youth of the day, staying up too late at night, partying too much, and driving their chariots too fast along the streets of the cities.
