Carbon monoxide gas sickens five people
Posted by the Asbury Park Press on 01/2/06
LIVINGSTON: Five people were hospitalized Sunday for carbon monoxide poisoning after a home heater malfunctioned and blew the toxic, odorless gas throughout the house they were in, police said.

Homeowner Daniel Roefaro called police just before 11 a.m. Sunday and said that he, his wife and three others felt strange.

All five were taken to St. Barnabas Hospital in Livingston where their injuries were deemed not life-threatening.
