Rambi....No, I'm not saying that. We don't really know what all the leakers said, and we certainly don't know who any of them were. At least at present.

What I am saying is the very thought that the heads of our Government say the info was HIGHLY Classified...should be warning enough that it wasn't to be distributed to the general world public.

IF the leaders of our Government wanted it to be distributed, then they would have declassified the info....right? Especially when members of both parties were in the briefings over the last few years....

And as for the idea "that someone with clearance COULD leak something dangerous in the future..." My question is: WHAT IF the info that was leaked was dangerous to our Military AND/OR or general citizenry now?

I do agree the timing of the article was "blatantly political."
But then, that's the NYT for you. The people who run the NYT evidently think they are the ones running our country, even if they weren't elected by any of us.

There always have been crusading wantaabe do-gooders.... Do we want these "scummy" people determining our lives?

How do we know that the people who leaked whatever information are not working for and being paid by, people that are of different lands that do NOT have our best interests in mind???

Do we have any proof of who these people are?

I would think it of vital importance to see who it was that thought they would hijack our government and the defenses the government has put in place to protect our citizens....
