Here is a list of stocks that are starting the year on the positive side. The group has in common that they are CF + and have small or negligible LTD. Most have improved revenues & earnings outlook, but the majority are out of my buying range.<g>

ALDA Has a PE around 11 a +CF of $2.10 Revenues were up 79% in the last Q and earnings only 10% <g>
The stock has closed its Jul.28 upgap and has been marking time since then. It still needs to close above its Oct.27 H of 27.92

The stock has had a good long term run since the uptrend started in July 2003 around the $2 level.<g>

AMAT In spite of lower revenues & earnings in the last 2Qs, things are expected to improve.<g>It had + CF around $0.80

Earnings are expected to improve 15% for 2006 and 16% for 2007

EGY Had 44% better revenues & 25% better ernings on the last Q and is expected to close the year with 33% better earnings than in 2004 The PE is around 8 and it had around $0.90 + CF

For 2006 a modest increase in earnings (only around 9%) is expected.<g>

FRD Had poor results on its 2ndQ (13% worse revenues & 24% lower earnings) but the PE is around 8 and it had around $1 in + CF <g>

It has been trying to form a base around the 5.60 level.

GSIG Has had 3 consecutive Qs of lower revenues & earnings, but things are expected to improve.<g> It had around $1.30 of + CF and for 2006 earnings are expected to be 150% better than the poor record of 2005 <g>

The stock closed part of its Dec.5 upgap

IDTI Reported better revenues on its 2ndQ although earnings remained unchanged at $0.09/shr It had around $0.90 in + CF

The stock is making a 52 wks. H today as it it tarded above its March Hs.

PMTC reported 15% better revenues on its last Q although the earnings were unchenged (but are expected to be 19% better in 2006 & 25% better in 2007 <g>) The + CF was only around $0.40

Will see if the stock van get back to the $20 level this year.<g>

PTEN had 80% better revenues & 250% better earnings on its 3rd Q The PE is around 20. (Earnings are expected to be only 236% better this year nad for 2006 an improvement of only 59% is expected.<g> It had around $1.35 in + CF

The stock has closed all its recent gaps.<g>

RADN Had 150% better revenues and 60% better earnings on its 3rd Q The PE is around 27 It had around $0.60 in + CF
