Not sure why that is surprising.
There is a very decent chance of a "reverse connundrum"
The FED acts to stabalize housing at some point but TNX fails to come done much.

I think the sweet spot of the next cycle will be the reverse of this one. 2-5 years. Bear in mind I do not think the TNX will do poorly but on the first move by the FED and the first pause, a mini-revolt on the long end would not be surprising.

IF that happens, housing will be in big big trouble.
