While not a pure CBM play, I have another one I’d like to bring to your board: Nordic Oil and Gas NOG.V My main area of interest is their significant Joffre, Alberta property which right in the heart of the Horseshoe Canyon Coal play. .....“during the summer, AJM Petroleum Consultants, a leading reservoir engineering company, was hired to evaluate the potential of Nordic's coal bed methane interests in Joffre. The report subsequently suggested that Nordic's possible recoverable coal bed methane reserves on its Joffre property exceeds 10 billion cubic feet -- Nordic expects to obtain a new report in the coming weeks reflecting its proven, probable and possible coal bed methane reserves on its Joffre property;....” They came out with a release today which gives a good overview of their current activities. stockwatch.com I have been concerned in the past with their ability to accomplish what they have laid out however they seem to be past this stage. The JV with Trident has added expertise with CBM exploration that gives their play a lot of credibility in my mind. Again I have a position in NOG and hold it with a long term perspective. JW
