Kerry announced a plan for withdrawl from Iraq starting with 20,000 last month (which Bush didn't do), gradually withdrawing almost completely from Iraq by the end of 2006.

Murtha's plan was not as concise but seemed to be to accelerate that process even further.

Hillary is not the one people aree listening to vis a vis Iraq. The democratic leaders on Iraq are Kerry, Murtha, Biden and Feingold. Feingold is the most anti-war and may run for president as the liberal candidate in 2008. But Democrats would be much smarter to pick Kerry or Warner, which they probably will. However, 2006 comes first and if you want to make a difference, pick a Bushie congressman to help beat and contribute.
