Let's just deal with this one issue. If we can get clarity on it we may be able to rummage through the rest of your post.

"Calling the President (or even insinuating it) a criminal for tracking our enemy when he calls the U.S. is so far from "the heart of what it means to be an American" that I can't even comprehend that view. I would say it is at the heart of what it means to undermine America and in some cases to support the terrorists."

I did not claim, nor has anyone else claimed that the criminal act was "tracking our enemy when he calls the U.S." It is doing it without using the proper channels and oversight that may have been criminal. This is what can lead to abuse. I am not saying that what he actually did was abuse, but the way he did it. It does matter.
