Bush's low is 34% and in 2006 he could be going even lower.
In a recent poll, 53% said they want him impeached. If that gets to 65% he's outta there unless he tries to declare martial law and appoint himself dictator. Don't put it past him. These Bushies do not follow the rules.

The White House spin machine is trying hard to resustitate Bush's popularity, and they did to a degree during the holiday season. That it's temporarily, all show, all talk, lots of BS and no action.

That whole "victory in Iraq" and "democrats want to cut and run" line may make good sound bites for conservatives, but they don't reflect reality at bit. The kind of "victory" Bush is talking about is a fantasy. To stop the insurgency we would need to wait it out for many years, which we can't afford to do. And our occupation is probably the #1 cataylst for the insurgency. He needs to change course but refuses.
In fact, Bush has already llost the war due to his own pisspoor planning. Remember, Cheney promised us it would be all over within weeks or months and Iraqi oil would pay for everything. Greeted as liberators, Blah blah blah. All BS.

He's also refusing to tell the truth and follow the laws. Look at this example of Bush snubbing his nose at laws which congress passes.
