The Mormons here remind me of hispanics in S. Cal. The young women in both cultures seem to want to get pregnant as soon as possible, and stay pregnant. Families with 5 or more kids are very common here. Both the Mormon church and the Catholic church openly encourage producing as many new believers as possible, and promote it as a good thing.
