Bush is not a conservative, he's a crook. No conservative would deficit spend 6.5 trillion dollars, more than all former presidents combined. Bush is the biggest spender of all time, bigger than LBJ and the Great Society. But the money is going mostly into the pockets of the rich and Bushie cronies, not back to the people, or invested in our future.

Bush uses conservatives, especially tyhe religious right. In private, Bushies call the religious right "wackos" and hire people lioke Ralph Reed to manipulate them. Most Bushie policies are bad for working-class Americans, including most of their less-educated white southern Bible Belt base. That was one of John Edwards's big points, and he was right.

Being conservative means nothing if big corporations are taking away your job, health care and future. Plus, who ever said conservatives should support pollution and the plundering of our resorces for narrow short-term gain?
