Deceitful spirits and Doctrine of Demons- "But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons by means of the hypocrisy of liars seared in their own conscience as with a branding iron, men who forbid marriage and advocate abstaining from foods, which God has created to be gratefully shared in by those who believe and know the truth." I Timothy 4:1-3 A) "Some will fall away from the faith..." + Not perhaps but will fall away. B) "Paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons..." + There is preaching; teaching; books being written by people that does not match up with the word. {I once confronted a lady about a teaching she was giving out in a ladies group---I showed her what scripture had to say---her answer was quite revealing as she said: "I don't care what the Bible says, I know what I've experienced." This lady had started off okay and was a professor of faith---but she had gotten side-tracked---had subtlely fallen away and was leading a group of ladies totally astray.} A lot of "Angel talk" and books written today are off base---That which is being passed off as the work of the Holy Spirit can and sometimes is a deluding spirit.
