Since I don't read other political threads as a rule, I missed your balancing act. Your posts here didn't seem to indicate it was important to poll on that specific issue, so I assumed you were letting it drop on purpose. I never get paranoid, I just get fed up with spin machine BS that is so transparent. If Bush could actually reach out and convince 60%+ of the people that he is right all the time, they wouldn't need the spin machines to squirm out of these jams they created for themselves. Or they could just follow the constitutional processes spelled out on paper and in our government institutions and not expose themselves to charges of overstepping their authority. That would be a novel concept.
