Squetch, thanks for the link, very helpful. I had seen some of the same issues Cacaito brings up in a few abstracts I looked at (multi-factorial disease, etc.). The jump to phase III does appear premature, but one never knows. Never heard of ALLP-Perflubron.

Overall this gives me a wider perspective on BPD and its possible treatment or prevention. I do know a neonatologist quite well and will try to get his take on BPD in general.
