unconfirmed speculation that the EIA ga by: bkcollectr 01/05/06 11:30 am Msg: 153674 of 153683 from news service 11:21 Feb. nat'l gas futures off the earlier lows We're hearing unconfirmed speculation that the EIA gas report may have been incorrect. The report indicated a build of 1bcf, which was a wide discrepancy from the anticipated draw of (51)bcf. We have no other information on the rumor, though note the actual report has been closer to consensus over the past few weeks. Feb nat'l gas has risen off the $9.40 lows and is trading at $9.62.
