I just remembered the correct name of my "affliction". It is called an "oral fixation". That's why the weight gain, etc. Smoking was not the problem, only a symptom. It is why even being diabetic, I eat about 1/3 lb candy every day. I think I'd just like to die if it would be guaranteed painless. I think that's my control freak taking over. Oh well, you're born, life sucks, then you die.
