I remember, yes. Turns out that was a poor predictor for this past year. I dunno about the 4 yr. presidential cycle having a 'longer' history- I think the prez. cycle studies I've seen only go back to WW2 or thereabouts. But it does probably have a few more data points (since there are 2.5 cycles per decade). The prez. cycle would also seem to have a more fundamental basis than a system based solely on the number of the year (5). Anyhow- my gut says we are not going to blast off to the moon here soon.
