geek question:

doing a wifi network with some extended distances and need to adjust the ACK time-out (both 802.11a and 11b). I need to know what the propagation delay through air is per km so I can set the ACK timeout properly.

I can adjust in 20us (microsecond) increments up to 2000us.

Actually looking to go out about 50 miles (and yes, I know that the power levels and antennas are gonna be key).

TIA
