Keith, you're right about the need to re-establish the purpose of this thread. As with any off-line discussion things can go off on tangents. When I came to read up on the latest developments after being away for a week or two I was pretty surprised to find ole 49r and Lalit mounting spurious attacks on my character. I guess I should not be surprised. Sometimes it's the minority not the majority that embody the herd mentality. And most discussion forums I've been attract one or more of the bully types that ole 49r personifies. So it's all par for the course. But I have no interest in distracting you and other serious shareholders from the matter at hand -- learning the truth of the Bre-X fraud. As usually happens, though it'll be a long time down the road, the truth about the role of David Walsh and others will be unearthed most vigorously when certain of the civil court actions go through the examination for discovery process and work their way to trial. There's a lot already on the public record, and which hopefully will appear summarized in digestible form in the books that will be published, that sheds light on the actions of such players as Walsh, Felderhof, John Thorpe, Tom Devlin, Bill Timmins and others. One way or another this information will become public -- of that I'm confident. This is a most interesting thread, even with the off-the-wall flaming and attacks. If Merrick were to start posting again, that too would be stimulating (for the first 500 or so of his posts!)

Best wishes to all, Adrian
