You got it ! The only stocks that need to be added are ones that appear on a scan result list. If some are already in MS format the update using the list will only add the new ones and ignore any already there.

Now, would you mind telling me how you keep your *.TXT lists updated. Here is an example. I have OWN.TXT & WATCH.TXT in my WOW directory so that I can place them into a group. I read them in and everything is running fine.

Now a couple of weeks go by and I need to delete all of MS files and the WOW data directory. I go through the routine to generate it all, but I need to readd the stocks to my OWN & WATCH Groups. Is there a way to keep those files permanent? I ask since if you delete, like I did, you don't have these in a group any longer, you only have the READ function to get them back. Remember, I am still playing with this portion. I plan tonight to delete again and see what happens to those OWN & WATCH groups/list/text files.
