From the end of a Barron's Online article on insider buying for 2005... whole article: online.barrons.com Insiders at pharmaceutical companies have almost doubled their buying in 2005 in dollar terms from 2004. "This is the largest buying in the last four years for pharmaceuticals," says LoPresti. Furthermore, he thinks this is definitely a favorable sign for the industry given the surge in activity in 2005. Within this industry, companies with large insider purchases include MannKind Corp. ($88 million) and Ivax ($1.3 million).
